DIGITAL and PRINT DESIGN

I’ve dabbled in design for a while and got serious about it in the last few years. I love combining composition principles with modern trends, while maintaining strong brand identity.

HPU Creative Direction

Being the Multimedia Designer at HPU has afforded me the opportunity to create and execute cohesive designs across all media. The Next Steps booklet for incoming freshmen became my ‘Brand 2.0’ baseline, incorporating the school’s prolific color palette as full bleed gradients, masking effects and a chunky arrow pointing towards the future. This look and feel has been implemented across the university’s expansive print and digital collateral.

Web Design

Coded from scratch in Dreamweaver, this was my first foray into web design, and will definitely not be my last. Fun fact: Koloa is the Hawaiian word for duck.
